Market Spice is a little shop nestled in a corner of Seattle's Pike Place Market. It's a small place packed with tea and spice related goodies, and it's easy to get lost smelling each and every jar of tea. You're bound to find a new favorite each time (and since everything can be bought by the ounce so it's OK if your favorite turns out to be your not-so-favorite). I wish I had taken photos of the perfect little packets of tea I bought on Sunday, but I completely forgot before I dug in. Instead, I'll use some photos from the Market Spice website- they're quite pretty!
I haven't tried this one either, but it smells like it
would make delicious iced tea.
They say: "High grade Chinese White tea flavored with
dried Strawberry pieces. High in antioxidants. Low in caffeine."
I'll have to learn how to spill tea so perfectly so I can take my own pictures. In the meanwhile, I have to figure out how to store it all. The little plastic bags work well enough in the short term, but they're not terribly convenient to open and close and I'm afraid the teas will lose their freshness over time.
