Also, according to Pantone Turquoise is the color of the year.

Why am I bringing this to your attention?  It's because we just painted our kitchen turquoise!  It seems they made this decision back in December, but I, in my ignorance, just found out yesterday.  I don't know if I should feel like we're cutting edge, or just a little sad that our color choice is this year's color fad.  Either way, the color in the kitchen is beautiful :D
